Magic Tiles 3 is AmaNotes' piano rhythm game. Black tiles scroll down the screen in time with a song, and you tap each one as it reaches you. Tap a white space or let a black tile slip past and the song stops.

It starts gently and speeds up as the song goes on, so the real test is staying accurate as the tempo climbs. Long tiles have to be held for their full length rather than tapped, and songs mix single notes with fast runs that need two fingers or two keys.

The song library ranges from classical pieces to modern pop, and finishing a song well earns stars and crowns. Because each attempt is one song long, it is easy to pick up for a few minutes.

How to play Magic Tiles 3

Controls. Click or tap each black tile as it reaches the bottom. Hold long tiles until they end. Never tap the white spaces.

Tips:

• Watch the bottom of the screen, not the top: react to tiles as they arrive.
• Hold long tiles all the way through; letting go early counts as a miss.
• Use two fingers (or two keys) for fast runs instead of one finger jumping between lanes.
• Learn a song at its start; the second half is faster but uses the same rhythm.
